Build and maintain API services and data-driven features for a fast-growing platform. As a mid engineering professional at Bluefern Technologies, you will join a fully distributed team and collaborate asynchronously across time zones.
Fully remote for candidates in Africa or Europe (aligned time zones).
What you'll do
- Own engineering initiatives end to end with a high degree of autonomy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
- Work with modern tools: Python, Django, AWS, REST.
- Contribute to a strong async, documentation-first remote culture.
- Continuously improve processes and mentor teammates where relevant.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience at the mid level in engineering.
- Hands-on skills with Python, Django, AWS.
- Excellent written English and strong async communication.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment.
